Fort of Three Rivers

Fort Trois-Rivières is a wooden fort built at this location in 1634.
Marks the cradle of Trois-Rivières which became one of the centers of the fur trade with the Indians.
It withstood several sieges by the Iroquois and was demolished following the peace treaty concluded with them in 1668.
